Thank you for taking the time to visit the International and Human Rights Law Association (IHRLA) at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law.

IHRLA educates club members and students in the principles of international and human rights law relating to organizations, legal issues and comparisons of legal systems.

IHRLA also promotes awareness of international and human rights law and related issues such as exchange opportunities. In addition, the club examines related careers and hosts speakers on various related legal topics.

IRHLA Conference - March 1
This year's topic is Corporate Social Responsibility: A Discussion on Human Rights and Canada's Resource Extraction Industry. Numerous panelists will speak on challenges to improving improving human rights standards and how the law affects human rights practices in the corporate sector.
